MASTER DEGREE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND CULTURE

The MA in English Language, Literature and Culture of the University of Minho offers a solid and multidisciplinary training in the macro-area of English. It aims at developing the skills and knowledge previously acquired in the undergraduate degree, preparing students for a professional career of excellence in the field of English language and culture. It also aims to broaden the scientific prospects of those already having a professional life, such as teachers and other cultural agents. By offering two research paths - Dissertation or Project - the Masters adapts either to scientific or to practical interests of its students.

Formal requirements


a) Graduates in English or correlate areas.
b) Persons holding an international academic degree, in English or correlate areas, within the Bolonha agreement.
c) Persons holding an international academic degree, in English or correlate areas, which can be acknowledged by the University of Minho as equivalent to a graduation degree.
d) Persons holding an academic, scientific or professional curriculum, in English or correlate areas, which can be acknowledged by the University of Minho as providing the necessary skills for completing this Study Plan.
