The course is targeted to Portuguese graduates in Chinese/Asian Studies, holders of an official Chinese language certificate HSK IV, and to Chinese students majoring in Portuguese Studies, with a Portuguese B2 level.
The course is focused on preparing for labour markets involving relationships/interests with Chinese/Portuguese areas and cultures.
The aim of the course is to equip students with linguistic competence, communication skills and cultural sensitivity that will enable them to effectively contact the economic and cultural agents of those markets in order to build bridges between societies.
The curricular programme has a strong emphasis practical training in the areas of translation, educational and business activities.

1st stage: 11 to 22 April 2024 - International students
2nd stage: 04 to 15 de July 2024 - International and National students
3rd stage: 03 to 06 September 2024 - International and National students
International undergraduate students that are enrolled in the final year of their cycle of studies and have not completed all the disciplines required to obtain a degree may, exceptionally, apply to a master's degree, starting in the 1st semester of the 2024/25 academic year.
Candidates who are admitted under these conditions must send the document that proves that they have completed their undergraduate degree before the 15th July to the Pedagogical Council of the School of Arts and Humanities by e-mail pedagogico@elach.uminho.pt or they will be excluded from the selection process.
