School of Arts and Humanities's mission and objectives include promoting and disseminating the scientific artistic and artistic results of its activity to the surrounding community. By providing services to society, the School carries out adult education actions, offers language courses, promotes literary gatherings and reading groups and provides concerts and theatre performances, supporting local development and the population's access to culture.
In
this context, ELACH developed interaction structures with society in all its
areas of action - namely through the BabeliUM Language Centre, which provides
language courses and translation services, the GUME Theatre Group, the
Orchestra and the Philosophy Readers Community.
