 ADVANCED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH


In its mission of promoting scientific research, the School of Arts and Humanities welcomes doctoral students from another higher education institution, either national or foreign, to undertake at UMinho a part of their PhD research project. The project is subject to approval by ELACH's Scientific Council, and should fit in one of the fields of knowledge in which the School grants a doctoral degree.
 
A diploma is granted upon the successful completion of the project. The application is made by specific form and the fees due for enrolment and implementation of the project are set annually by the competent bodies of UMinho, taking for reference the value set for doctoral students' fees.
