The Master's Degree Course in Spanish as a Second/Foreign Language (90 ECTS) offers linguistic, literary, cultural and didactic training in Spanish, leading to professional practice in SFL and scientific development in this area. It is the first Master's degree in this field in Portugal to be taught in b-learning modality and aims to broaden the possibilities for postgraduate training in Spanish, bringing together professional practice and training needs.
It is therefore aimed at Spanish teachers, specific-purpose Spanish professionals (commercial, tourism or health), and students who wish to become academically, scientifically or professionally involved in the field of SFL.
The course is structured in three semesters: the first two comprise the main themes of the course and lead to the Specialisation Diploma, while the third consists of a professional internship or project work. The face-to-face part of the course is concentrated in a period of two weeks at the end of the second semester.
The Master Degree in Spanish as Second and as Foreign Language will not be offered for the academic year of 2025/2026.
